We are all subject to the math equation of life. The math equation of life is a balancing act between taking from others and giving to others. December is a great time to help balance your math equation between taking and giving before going into a New Year. We are all in a big classroom called planet earth. We are here to spiritually grow, to become closer to God, to become one with God.
There is so much that we are not told; there is so much that cannot be told. It is all part of our spiritual journey. The key to reaching the goal of being one with God is to love thy neighbor as thyself. And let me tell you, it is not easy. It is a tough journey, but more important, it is the most rewarding journey one can imagine when one has achieved that oneness with God.
To reach the goal of being one with God, we are placed in many life situations to test our true character. You see, everything we say, and do, and think is instantly recorded in God's archives. Meaning, each time you hurt someone or lie to someone, if you deceive someone, all this is all recorded. On the other side of the ledger, each time you love someone, or help someone, and show compassion to someone, all this is all recorded, too.
Our life math equation is attached directly to our body chemistry. Each time we have a physical movement, there is a body chemistry fluctuation. Each time we say something, there is a body chemical fluctuation. And each time we think of something, there is a body chemical fluctuation.
When we are in a happy state, your body releases happy healthy positive chemicals bringing health to you. Each time we are in an unhappy state, our bodies release angry, unhealthy and negative chemicals. When this negative state is chronic, disease enters into ones body.
If over the year, you have hurt others more than loving others, your body chemistry is probably in an overall negative state. So let's help you get your chemicals balanced. First, forgive all that have harmed you in any way, forgive yourself and ask God to forgive you for hurting all. Second, make a plan how you can win your positive body chemistry back. Some examples are:
- Phoning someone and simply saying, “I love you”
- Give someone a lift home
- Simply giving to the homeless without expectations and without judgement.
Did you know that a high percentage of homeless people in Vancouver , in fact 80 percent of them, have been working hard over the last year to do better in life? Please do not judge anyone, even if it is your last $20, give it away. You never will know when you or your love ones may need the same type of help.
In reality, when a person stands in front of you begging for money, this may be a test for you. Did you pass the test? Give generously and don't forget the homeless also have to buy others gifts. Please, I ask of you, give from your heart.
